Hallstatt, Upper Austria, is a village in the Salzkammergut, a region in Austria. It is located near the Hallstatter See (a lake). At the 2001 census, it had 946 inhabitants. Hallstatt is known for its production of salt, dating back to prehistoric times, and gave its name to the Hallstatt culture, a culture often linked to Proto-Celtic, and pre-Illyrian peoples in Early Iron Age Europe.

哈尔施塔特（德语：Hallstatt），位于奥地利上奥地利州萨尔茨卡默古特地区的一个村庄，位于哈尔施塔特湖湖畔。2001年人口普查时有946名居民。哈尔施塔特以产盐著称，归溯到旧时期，悠久的文化赋予了它此名。哈尔施塔特文化常常与古凯尔特语，以及欧洲铁器时代的伊利里亚古语紧密相关。

Hallstatt is known as“the Pearl of Austria” . Hallstatt is truly spectacular, due to its “guardian of the Hallstattersee lake” status and the beautiful mountains surrounding it. Hallstatt is also known for its World’s First Salt Mine and the stunning salt caves which can be visited by tourists. The ice caves are also fascinating. There are many things to do in Hallstatt and we will only name a few: boating, hiking, surfing, visiting the salt mines and the ice caves.

哈尔施塔特被誉为“奥地利的珍珠”。哈尔施塔特的风景堪称美妙绝伦，譬如那“忠实的守卫者哈尔施塔特湖”和环绕四周的美丽山脉。它以在世界上首屈一指的盐矿和盐洞而闻名于世。那里的冰穴也备受关注。我们可以在哈尔施塔特做很多事情：划船，冲浪，游历盐矿区域和冰穴等等。
